Some more updated pics of the vb10. Starting to get there! happy with how straight it came out. Took a lot of work

What does everyone think of the rims on the car. Looking to lower it more when i get it on the road.
They are 15x7

looks great with wheels... are those front guards going to get mashed when the front suspension comes up though?

i love white wheels

Hopefully it will clear the guards, cause it has got about 2 degrees of positive camber at the moment. Once i put some shims in to get to 1 degree negative i recon it will clear easy

Lampy,

Well done on the paintwork and prepwork. Top work by the looks of things. You should be proud.

Keep up the pictures. I'm impressed.

cheers for the comments, it took a lot of time. A lot of cold sw victoria nights in the shed sparying sanding, spraying, sanding, spraying etc.
i think in the end 4+ litres of polyester spray putty was applied and nearly all of it rubbed off again.
Dont know if i like the colour yet. I am thinking i should have gone a burnt orange colour. i have always loved old datsuns in that colour.

Plans now are to put back all the interior and trim, mount the battery under the passenger side dash and rewire. It should be then ready for some glass and a roadworthy.

Once i have full rego the engine will come out and get some extractors, bike carbies cam, springs, a14 valves and some porting. Looking for a 5 speed box aswell. I want to do some long trips in her so dont want to be revving like crazy

A few more photos of the vb10.
All put back together and the engine running. Just waiting on glass and a reconditioned radiator
Put the polished jellybeans on, what does everyone think?
Which wheels are better?

the body is magnificent, the ride height and wheels are totally weak. Dont have to be crazy low and wide to be awsome but those 15's with big tyres are rude. b10's are tiny, they need tiny wheels

Yeah i agree with you about the 15's, they look too big.
I am definatly not going smaller than 13in tho because they wont fit over the brakes im planning.
It will be lowered further when it passes a roadworthy and gets rego
