I ended up settling for a 12.7@114mph. got 5 runs but decided to go home while the car was still in one piece (i'm racing this sunday at sandown) and got sick of waiting for the 'competition cars'.

was good to catch up with the datto crew, the LAGWAGON is still quicker at 12.6 but it did have the slicks to give it traction :)

can't wait for those pics boof

not too happy about them closing the track an hour early...just as i started to run half decent times too
bettered my time by near half a second on the second last run, running a 14.8, then ran another 14.8 on the last run with a bad launch

i can say though that 5500rpm launches and really quick gear changes with a solid button clutch is not something that r30 stumpy gearboxes like

That l-series is pretty quick pigdog, send that gearbox to revhead maybe he can give it a bit of a tweak. I thought the six cyl gearboxes were pretty nice to use, do you have a quick shift?

So any repair bills for anyone?

Would be good to see some pics boof.

*nudge nudge*

Ya Think!!!

Seriously though, Theres not much you can do for a stumpy to make it love launches... Except mabey a full custom straight cut gearset rated to about 300nm.

i wasnt jumping off the clutch at 5500rpm, just sorta slowly letting it out, if i jumped off the clutch it would bog down as soon as it came down from the launch
no short shifter in it...really needs something to make it feel a bit better, but i think i was getting it through gears quicker that the box could cope with anyway
