I see a Puerto Rican style 3tc or 3tg turbo easily adapted.

Wow That was a great deal. Looks very straight and a lot of the hard work has been done just needs a freshen up by the sounds of it. Wanna move over there for a few years.

The seats are very interesting, what BMW are they from? Look like E30 seats, I'd be interested in knowing how much they have been modified to suit. Oh and $1500usd sounds like a steal to me, well done.

Javier,
Welcome to the site. Looks like you didn't do too bad at all. Looks like a fairly clean little ride. I would have given 1500 for it too.

Hello fellow 1200 aficionados, I'm Javier from Las Vegas NV. I recently purchased my 1200 coupe from a good friend of mine and was wondering if I got a good deal on it. I'm new to the world of Datsuns and really have no clue as to what my car is worth. I was hoping to get some insight here and hopefully put an actual value on my car.
Here are some quick specs:
1971 Datsun 1200 Coupe
1.8L Toyota 3tc motor/5sp trans
Holley side draft carb
Rear disc brake conversion
Leather BMW front and rear seats
280z Turbo wheels (swastika)
Coilover front susp
Custom sway bars
Battery re-location kit to trunk
Runs good..not great but good. Could use a carb tune.
Pictures can be found Here

P.S.
I paid 1,500 for it. US
