Yeah, here in perth AUS we have had VW beetles roaming the streets, they have a big round thing on the roof with many cameras mounted inside (360 degree filming I was told).
A few people have written in to the papers concerned about thier privacey. Yet to check it out myself.

there was a van a few months ago in my area going up & down every street with heaps of cameras at different angles on the roof,..........

looked like the Gostbusters

i ask then what there used for, there for road maping, they were saying theres quiet a lot of vans travel around aust maping the country side

Finally found another Datsun 1200 (click the little man). It's a nice silver Sunny Truck.

Haven't spotted any in Oz yet...
