For those that have ever wondered, yes, I am still alive.

In relation to my last posts in this thread, the last "survivor" unrestored Quicksilver Team Helium model that changed hands went for $5000. [yep, five thousand dollars] That was about a month ago.The only real thing of value on it was the frame as even the fork was a second level down model. It had been in a garage only a relatively short distance from me [three villages away] for the last 33 years & I didn't know. I must be slipping.
Even at that price, I'm not offering any of mine up for sale.

Good to hear Chris you are still kicking goals with your hobbies
However soem say to forget material things & obsessions that get in the way of life
yet if your life is yor hobby or hobbies then that can also be a fun way to live

Things have changed. New abode in a regional city. The daily driver 1200 coupe is being retired & will be looking for a new home soon & my new home will allow me to get the guns out & do a little target shooting & perhaps some pig & goat hunting also. I still have the KB10GL too.

Things always change and hobbies as well but classic stuff that doesnt change goes up in value
So its good to have people who keep things the way they should be for a reminder of change
The other day I was in an old Toyota Crown and thought why do humans need more than this?
Air con,power windows with great visibility, good brakes, comfortable seating, plush yet responsive steering and suspension, am/fm radio w/ aux/usb in glovebox and small cooler.
Now cars have 60 plus ecus with little chance of getting to a heater core without major effort.
I say bring on long range quick silver E-bicycles and temperature controlled e-clothing :)

if you have a chance to visit japan, Ill be happy to give your board and food in exchange for shooting pesty crows :))
