O.K people i got it for $1850 with a14 5 speed and everyone went berserk about what a bargain it was (Quote one member, The bargain of the year). We sold the 5 speed and have since spent hard earned coin on putting some new metal in it and doing up the interior as best we could with new carpets etc and put a 4 speed in it which altered the ratios and improved its performance
So What Is it Worth ????? Realistically.
It needs a new home.

My opinion....cause you asked

to get a good price it would help if it had RWC

it looked cheap at 1850 cause no one knew it had the rust you fixed

taking bits off (wheels) to make it cheaper won't help

my ute got 3150 which is practically what you are aksing, and my ute was fairly similar condtion with some cool bits etc

but coupes don't fetch the same prices as utes.... coupes that are pretty nice but need some work and arn't rwc etc in my opinion are worth $1500-2000... really really shmick looking coupes with the a15 and 5 speed etc etc can get between 4 and 5k but a ute like that i would expect to be more like 6-7+

cars always seem to sell for more on ebay... so why not chuck it on and try your luck...

Well we are using the wheels and tyres on our sedan and i disagree with the theory that utes are worth more than coupes just because of how many Utes are around and the lack of coupes around, Especially coupes with an Auto tunnel.Not interested in dealing with ebay the word is out so i will see what happens.

Really its worth whatever someone is willing to pay, but if you like a guideline i paid 3.5k for this:

1200 Coupe Front
1200 Coupe Rear
1200 Coupe Interior

as a rolling shell with no motor or box. I thought that was a fair price.

in my mind coupes should cost more, there are less of them, they are much cooler and they are designed to fit full size human beings in them

nah thats a sedan.... they fit a full human in all 4 seats, coupes are awkward in the rear seats still

Of anyone can fit a adult in the rear of a coupe with the driver in their proper seating position I'd like to see that!
By the way coupes are the way to go......

Back when all I had were 1200 coupes, I always had adults in the car. The most I had was 9 people at one time in it. 5 in the car was a normal thursday to saturday night. Sure you have to put your seat forward a few cogs but thats the price you pay for driving a 1/2 scale car. I'm sure that most blokes from USA would consider the 1200 as 'Trunk Space' in their regular daily tanks.
