Interesting steering wheel.

Nice.

Good Lord, she's a true 67' model!

Wow, I'm very proud this example exists to this day. No one can say it's an ugly car.

D? You buy??

Its alot more work than stated. After owning many over the years you have to be careful when looking at any car but Ill just pass on my opinion for those who are considering bidding.
Theres is no re-stiching to be done its total re-upholstering so only passenger seat and dash seems fine, steering wheel is standard 67 with a lapidated brown suede cover, accel pedal rubber missing, carpets need replacing, driver doorskin damaged and passenger one warped, rear valance replaced, will be better with front disc brakes, exterior seems re-painted or touched up, it has done 170,000klms or more, bumpers will need re-chroming if you want them spic and spam, one or two ball joint might be on their way out and there are other things to consider. I personally now would love to keep an A10 in top shape but at 170k plus you should consider a rebuild also in the calculations.
Ive seen examples with more Kms in better condition, especially in the interior.
Expect to spend at least another 3-4k with rwc and reg with the things mentioned and then you still havent done a full respray.
I love Datsun Ks but although simple you are never happy unless they have a full resto as these cars deserve and as some like Dodgeman, Clyon8 and others etc.
If you got the time and budget go for it but dont be fooled thinking because Ks are simple that they are cheap to clean up.
I will not be bidding I have mine to finish and a million other things.

D ask dodgeman how cheap and simple it has been to restore his coupe as it seems he has made that thing a money pitt but he is also putting in a lot of rare parts to that build

I rang the fellow yesterday.

It is an outrageous story. I will ellaborate on another occassion.

I fear there are some some serious legal issues involved, legalities that haven't been reported or mentioned in the advertisement. The car was handed over because he was owed cash.....doesn't sound right.

The fellow said he is expecting to sell for $22 000 dollars. I choked and hung-up.

I am currently working at Lihir Gold Mine as a consultant. I maybe able to afford to ship my B10 back to Adelaide next year.

D,

The fellow also mentioned the front door/guard had been damaged and repainted. It's a neat car but it has almost passed my budget already!
