i mentioned the hq front end if you are going with a full cage so you may aswell go that bit further and make up custom mount for the hq frontend and it gets rid of that damn leaf spring allowing you 2 drop the motor lower by cutting the crossmember up plus big brakes...

heres a pic of the hq front end i belive if you are going big power with a fairly heavy motor then use the hq stuff but for a hot a series screw around with a vannette front end

as some of you might know i'm in the middle of a racecar build, my 1000 is in the process of getting the works, and i need some suggestions on a brake package. I'm looking for a pair of vented disks is there any availabe out there that fit on the 1000?

Someone mentioned HQ one-tonner brakes up front, what hub needs to be used for such a set-up? do i need a custom hub for bigger brake package? vented rotor or otherwise?

Also is a brake booster needed? or just a twin master cylinder?
