In that case get the sleeves bored out on a cg13de 76.5mm and get some darton sleeves will give 1480cc. Also use the E15et Rods.
80.5mm stroke standard should rev to 7500rpm nicely as did the fiats with the same stroke.

If you get the darton sleeves you could sell some to the K11 community also which would dream of that bore size.

Hopefully theres enough room in the sand casting for even bigger capacity.

You could also use the CGA3DE crank at 82.8 and 75mm bores for 1463cc. The CG3DE on the last model has 101 jp hp from stock.

hi guys just a quick note to say that i am using a cg13de engine in a 1200 ute and am converting it to rwd at the moment using a toyota split case 5 speed out of a sprinter with a modified bell housing and hand made flywheel , tilton hydraulic release bearing and ap racing clutch . just have to get over the ignition issue but will most likley go the crank trigger and motec/autronic option, should be in one piece after xmas . so it's not impossible .

Dazza If you read the previous posts youll see it has to be nissan and we dismissed the sr20de due to the obvious reasons.
Just so you know the Honda b16 is heavy and sand cast and the sr16ve outperforms it hands down in NA.

The topic now is the cg13de and can we see pics of this conversion?

Also why not go EDIS-4? its cheap.

dragging it up, one of the NZ boys has done it in his rally car.

you'll need to register to view the pics.
He modified the orginal fwd bell housing by the look of it and uses a t50 toyota box too.
He also moved the whole motor back behind the crossmember but that wouldn't really be necessary as the are still lighter than an a series.
