Yeah ethan has just about summed it up.

When i first got my first datto 1200 it was a ute i saw down the road for only 3 grand and i just grabbed it cause i needed to get a little run around. I knew nothing mechanically AT ALL!!!! Now only two years later i am up to my third one and all my free time and spare funds go into it and i do 99% of the work myself.

If you like cars enough to take them up as a hobby and are prepared to get your hands dirty then they are the best cars to have.

If you want something that is super reliable and is just for running around the place and not worrying about where you park it etc then maybe it isn't for you.

If you are keen to give it a go and buy one then prospec little sedan is an absolutely perfect start for you. And with all the mechanical stuff just throw yourself into it and read as much as you can on this site in the wiki section and posts in general. Trust me these little cars are generally very simple and easy to work on.

All this aside they are great fun to drive, work on and own in general and for me the coolest damn cars in the world!!!

Everyone loves a Datto!!!!
