to the best of my knowlege they wash out the guns with kero or some kero derivitive. i know that kero is also almost identical to the engine fuel system cleaning additives that u can buy. those products recomend only like 10 ml/5 L or something so i don't know what would happen if u used a more concentrated dose. i expect that the mower motor would run and so would the car and would seem fine til it blew up
don't know if i've been helpful but thats my 2 cents.

Hi Ya,
this sounds silly but I need to ask. A mate of mine works at a spray painting business they have a heap of waste gun wash with a tiny amount of paint that they pay to get recyclyed. If i filtered this could i cocktail it with petrol and run the standard A12 on? or would it be too risky etc. My idea was to get an old Briggs and straton 4 stroke mower motor, stand back and see if it runs as a test.
Is there an easy way to find if it would work with octane etc... or should i forget it. I have also heard that it might be corrosive for the engine... not sure how to find this out too.
The main reason it crossed my mind is that its free. But then engine rebuilds arnt. :)
cheers
