2nd that. (what Shaun said)
This happened just round the corner from my place, bloody tragic. RIP to the driver and my thoughts go to the family and friends. ps In our local paper it quoted his mother saying he had the vehicle registered that day.

yea its sad he died but even though dead he has to take responiblity for what he did - and yea he did he died .
sad yea his family have to deal with that n i feel for them but in the end they have to deal with the fact that he did something stupid. mattblack the mother may have said that but what he told his mother and what actually happened are 2 different things. it has been recorded and commented by the cops that it was unregistered and un insured..i would go by what the coppers say. Dealing with the shock in the aftermath of it all is a hard hard thing and people will say how they feel..like "he was such a good boy never broke the law always drove safely" that kinda thing comes without thinking but they also dont want people thinking ill of their deceased person. If one of my friends or family did that yea i would be sad coz they died but i would be more pissed off at the fact they were doing something so ####ing stupid to cause their untimely death. but yes i agree this thread should now be closed everyone has had their say and we should now just lock it and move on that's life and life's hard.

Theres no reason to remove the thread boys, people have voiced their opinion disregarding respect for this young mans death with ignorance. Who cares! Their opinions dont mean much to the families who have to deal with the loss of someone who may have been a great person. Regardless, death is not some term to be toyed with.
Who on this forum can truly say that they havent done something idiotic, perhaps when they were younger, or perhaps more recently? That they have never endangered their lives by putting their foot on the pedal for a moment too long or taken a corner too fast. Maybe this was the kids first moment of excitement. No one drives like an idiot with the intent to harm other people. Perhaps we make the mistake of assuming nothing will happen to me. But we have all made this mistake. This is why justifying this death as a positive thing is absolutely disgraceful, selfish and shows how low some people in this society have become. Death is never a good thing. It should never be used to justify anything whatsoever. This kid was just unlucky. Not as lucky as most of us

Got to agree. I spent many years in R.A.R (Road Accident Rescue) up here in the back blocks. I still feel strongly for the victims and their families. A life has been wasted. That is why I don't do it anymore. I just got sick of pulling bodies out of accidents, for what ever reason, shouldn't of happened. We have no idea what destiny had planned for this young man and every life is precious. Yes, I am sure that he had no intention to lose control of his car or to put any others in peril but that is what happened. We all have and will continue to do the wrong thing sometimes. Just think about it for Christ sake! I am guilty of the speed thing but I only do it on my own. The first thing that should be fitted into a HP project is a good amount of common sence into the drivers head. R.I.P YOUNG PUP. My sympathies to the family and friends.

well, I'm pretty sure I'll never loose control of my car at over 90kph in a 50 zone and slap it into a tree/pole/parked car/people in a suburban street. Mainly because I would never do anything like that speed in a 50 zone. There's a reason its zoned 50kph you know? because of all the families that live there... Kids playing on footpaths, running out after a ball kicked onto the road... people out jogging, people riding their bikes down the shops. They don't need some ####wits (to quote phunk) speeding past them at 90kph out of control... And no, even when i was young and stupid I didn't speed around suburban streets intentionally endangering a whole bunch of families like these jokers. respect you say? what respect did he show? don't ask me to feel bad for him. Sure its sad for his family and friends, but he's dead because of the dangerous position he put himself in and his own decisions and actions entirely. its just lucky he didn't take anyone else with him. if that makes me an arsehole/####wit or anything else, I couldn't care less.
