donditaa, is that your Norris Cams piece? Norris should be able to tell you something about it, most cam grinders are friendly and helpful.

Keep in mind that an A14/A15 engine's cylinder head limits its max power to about 5500 rpm (without porting). The A12 GX head was good (without porting) was 6600 RPM. So a higher duration cam will loose low end power below a certain RPM, and not raise the top RPM. But it should increase the HP at higher RPMs.

* The Datsun 1200 FIA cam was .350 lift, and that was good for max 6600 RPM. It was 256 degrees (unknown how measured).

* Stock A12 Cam: 248

It will depend on which engine you fit it to... An A12? A15?

I need a little help please, if I have a camshaft that have.
"Advertised duration is 286"
".050duration is 245" and ".460 valvelift",
what range of RPM is the power band make?
