Hey Guys (and Girls I assume),

I registered a couple of days ago, after lurking for a while, and thought it would be polite to introduce myself.

I currently live on the Gold Coast due to work commitments but my toys (read-incomplete vehicular projects) are at my home in Toowoomba.

I have been into Datsun 1200s since my dad began dirt track racing them in NSW in about 1979 (I was 11 or 12). He had previously raced FJs, HB and LJ Toranas and even a Hillmen Minx! The car next to the 1200 is a '54 Ford Prefect Ute (it's in immaculate unrestoredcondition). I don't think he would part with it but you never know.

Welcome Pete,can't help but think i've seen that 1200 coupe in some archival footage at Echo Valley.
The Short circuit motor sport association is still around but all is done on bitumen these days.Give a shout if i can be of assistance in "re starting"where you left off.
