I need the hose that goes from the valve to the core.

Looked everywhere cant find one.

you cant just chop a bit out of another hose?

in aus they can still be sourced at the typical auotomotive parts stores

it's not a complex hose so you could probably use one off another vehicle anyway

i know toyota paseo has the same hose diameter (if those cars were delivered to US under that name)

I went to my parts store and they let me in the rear to look at all the hoses they had a weird kink that I had to cut to make fit my core. When fitting it since I cut it I could not get it to fit snug enough. It still leaks a drip every few seconds.

Yeah that sounds like what I may have to do. But in Australia is the valve still on the right side of the car? (stupid question maybe)

by "the valve" i think you mean the thermostat, and you are reffering to the top radiator hose, the neck for that in australia is on the drivers side, which in US is the passenger side (standing at front of car looking into bonnet it points to the left)

I am talking about the hose under the dash in the passenger compartment. that goes from the heater valve to the heater core.

i think he may mean the actual valve on the side of the heater box!!
