The fins on the disk rear are the difference between fitting 13s and not. They are at least 10mm IIRC.

Offset for the rims that I got are +21. When they get here, ill know for sure how they fit.

I am using a r31 LSD that I had cut down. its using all the standard skyline gear.

r31 rear on a 1000 overkill much?? its only an a series (i think??) put a narrowed h165 from a bluebird under it and if you must have rear discs then get the bluey conversion
but dont forget
1 the car is under 700kgs you dont need much braking power to stop 700kgs upgrade the fronts then use the bluey rear drums this reduces unsprung weight and makes a better handling car
2 r31 is way overkill for an a series and just adds less power to the wheels (due to more rotational mass and friction) more unsprung wieght aswell the h165 will put up with it you may break axles if you like burnouts

Yeah i can see your point.

The thing is, everything is a cut down job for a 1000.
The BW is common as muck, parts are easy, not that I expect any issues.
They come in a myarid of ratios plus LSD.
I got mine dirt cheap. (genuine skyline silloiute LSD)

I could have just stuck with the H145 and waited to see if it breaks.

I looked at the H150/H165 but that required more effort to track down that this particular BW did. It fell in my lap.

What is the weight difference between the two? I havent meansured them. They are both heavy lumps of iron.

Well I know that I ca pick up a complete H145 with some effort. (im a little bugger)

I can pick up my cut down BW with about the same effort, but it is minus the axles and hubs.

Maybe i should jump on scales and weight em.
Crap, just forgot, all that stuff is in storage. Must build a shed, getting twichy already....
