The manifold, & presumably the whole induction system actually looks to be an early A12T system from a B210 Sunny GX.
The A14T was quite different with carbs that had a 4 bolt flange & the air filter base was attached to each carb with 3 points, so it had a triangular flange.

Later A12T inductions used a blue air filter housing. The red one is a caryover from the 1200.

I ran a big bore [76.5mm] 1200 GX engine for quite a number of years & it was a joy to drive every time I turned the key.
Smooth delivery of power, flexible, & it pulled strongly [for a 1300 cc engine] I had either great performance, or great economy at the press of a pedal, ... driving style dictated which one I got.
The factory 5 speed was a perfect compliment to it too.

To be honest, after running the GX on the street, I would not evem contemplate a dual Weber/DelOrto/Solex induction.

Damnn straight Dodgeman, i had a gx12
ina 2dr sedan 1000 years ago and yes-
a joy. I bought a 60a off datsandy to go
behind the a15 a while ago so should be a
good cruiser with a bit of go.

A complete GX would be nice, how much would a complete setup cost? Good condition that hasn't been run in a while.

How hard did the 1000 2dr go conehead? Did you have to upgrade the diff?

Upgrade-no, replace-yes The gx was
not that much more powerful, the biggest
difference was it would rev harder and
cleaner with a bit more power. The only
restriction i had was points ignition, I't
would points bounce at about 7000rpm
I did race and beat a 6cyl xd though!!

How does the old saying go?

My Mopar eats chevy's and sh1ts fords!! I can only imagine what one will do to a datsun.

Why oh why is everyone so intent on knitpicking on the carbs. Conehead knows the difference between GX and A12T. The fact that he is refering to it as GX just makes it simpler. Apart from the pollution rubbish all over it and the square tops, when it's all converted most won't know the difference anyway. Except the keen eyes of dogeman. Nothing seems to escape Chris.
