lesve it as is. simple and efective.

Upgrading a site can mean its death,
eg GT rydaz for the forrestor owners here.

If you want regional post in the meetings maybe, if you want real time chat, get msn messenger.
How much harder can it be.

I agree the site is fine how it is. The chat room was just a thought and Andy got it right. Bilbis aren't into small talk and they don't know much about Datsuns either. I feel so alone Datsuns in the desert sand.

chat was an option years back, the members of the time came to the concluison that a lot of information would be lost

better that comments/ideas/instructions are posted for all to read at anytime

A datsun 1200 is functional... so is this website.

Don't waste any time on changing anything, I say.

Otherwise it will end up like other datto sites that are full of advertising and all sorts of annoying crap.

Well, I'm hapy with this forum as it is!

I think a membership fee would be a good idea, the membership fee could include merchandise like T-shirts and a window stick for our rides,Just a thought.

But the problem is who is going to organise this? the moderators would be to busy, they donate their time to keep this site up and running. I don't think they have enough time to organise this forum and do memberships aswell? might need to have someone else donate their time to help out if it comes to that. Another problem is that we have members around the world, not just in austrailia, which would it more difficult.

Just a thought, What would aussie members think of making a 1200.com a CAMS approved club so we can get together for track days and other events??

Yeah I agree with Whorida.
Simple is good. You go on OZdat and there are like 20 different sub-headings which I find annoying.

Real Time Chat room?

'No' vote from me.

Wouldn't mind if they did charge a fee for membership. That would keep alot of the idiots away.

EDIT
