Matto1kute it all takes patience. You should post some pics under project builds so we can
1. Be jealous you have a 2 door sedan and
2. Track your progress and give you feedback to help keep you motivated.

Now is a crucial time to not take shortcuts and persevere, even if it means doing repairs twice.
Shortcuts and lack of patience now will be evident in the finished product.

Also, be sure to check out Datsunbat's car in project builds

Keep plugging away, it is hard but at least it will be done to your liking. Panelbeaters tend to take their time with this kind of work as it doesn't make them much profit.

As for the motor I'd love to hear of your plans. If it was mine I'd be hunting down a A12GX. CA or SR would butcher such a rare car, keep it as close to original as possible.

ur all going to hate this but i recon im going to go a rotor. it can be put in without cutting anything and i can put a 12a in it so a nice 12A large extend will be good. A series are good but its too expensive for a box. plus i have a rotor bug again

in another 10-20 yrs how many real good panelbeaters do you think will be around? sure still there a few good ones around but with most of these new cars its either replace panels and do a bit of straightning, bit of bog here and there and your done or its completly ####ed and the insurance company writes it off OR the panelshop doesnt want to know about it so do you think all the aprentice beaters are going to learn how to cut and shut rust and restore a 40 year old car that is pretty much ####ed?
and im sure its not like it would have been 20-30 yrs ago where it would have been cheaper to repair the panel then replace it
and you being a man in the trade for as long as you have stated would probably understand this?
and id rather have the joy of knowing that there is less bog in it due to the fact that i took it to the beaters to do the bits i couldnt

if u can, post up pics of these dents from the outside and what u can get to inside,
u dont want to stretch the steel and need shrinking, an easy enuf trap to fall into. We can give u more of a guide then. Rubber or wooden mallet to bump it out is a good start to avoid stretching.
