some great ideas here:

1. Paint the centers charcoal, leave gold elsewhere. Not sure if it would be an improvement, the gold looks great already

2. Stock steel wheels with a stainless beauty ring and chrome lugnuts. Look surprisingly nice.

those rims are from the fiat 124 shape or the similar lancia hatchback model, very nice polished up.
