you could poke my car, but im afraid your finger might go through some where.

good to see its going well. could you use a smaller sesoviour for the clutch master? look massive compared to your other set ups.

Again you've been deceived Mik, As the reservoir isnt even 7cm from firewall to end. the filler bottle tapers out and thats why it sits close to plenum but i can get lid on and off so I'm all good with that. Will finish it and take some more pics then throw the box on and jack it in place with tailshaft connected to see how the Bluey crossmember lines up. Should be damn close from my measurements.

Did a few hours on this old girl the sarvo tidying up welds around tunnel and put a few more tacks underneath to assure the tunnel isnt goin anywhere. Nearly ready to seem seal it underneath and smooth it out around the mouth in engine bay. Pics up soon. Slow project this one but a joy to work on so solid and clean.

O.k After reevaluating the ute project and deciding to scrap it and go on with me wagon. Got the late ute crossmember sand blasted today then primed it and hit it with some satin black. Then put it back in and fitted me little 120y A12 and sunny smooth case. Should be a little beast. Need to make gearbox crossmember pretty sure i can get the box in and out with that tunnel.

good choice- wagons seem to be more practicle than utes.

After moving and having half ass attempts (must be crazy)at selling this beast. The motivation is back (Thanks PIGDOG) to kick on and get this little beauty going. Cleaned it all out today as its been used for storage and transporting stuff in the move. After having a play/drive with the other CADE wagon I've decided to CADE this one to. So off to light the fire in the shed and get cracking on the conversion and mocking up stuff. The tunnel is done and just begging for a CA 5 speed box to fill it up.

cool wagon! I'm currently in negotiation to buy a 520 wagon. eventually plan to fit a KA24de and probably turbo or supercharge it (like the individuality of supercharging although it might be more expensive) but I'd thought about a ute and although they look cool, they're just too constricted when you want to carry extra friends. good luck in your project.

Well its been a while again but im back to it. Have the CA X member, mounts and coil over kit on the way. Removed the mounts off the mystery (possibly datsun 520 ute H190 ) diff and sat it all in all lined up bolted in rechecked it and tacked the mounts back on. Looks tough i reckon should be enough for CA18DE. Now going to re fit the centre and axles then start fitting the R31 tank so i can put wheels on and drop it down to check clearance around diff and fuel tank.

Well welded some flat to rear of tank and some nuts and welded a bit of RHS to the front with some decent flat washers. Need to brace the front one up a bit more but its mounted and ready to move on to marking and relocating the filler hole. Heaps of clearance on the diff as i jacked it up at one point from under the diff. Got me CA X member and coil over kit the other day(Thanks Nik, Supafatto). So more stuff to keep me kicking on. Till next time Adiós
