Yeah good point lol.
I dont wanna spend more on hotting up the motor than actually buying a bigger more powerful car.

I believe ur best bet is to keep the sunny and get an a15 u should b able to pick up just the block for like $150 or sumfin like that and everything from the a12 bolts strait on to it
Even if u can't find an a14 or a15 head the a12 head fits on bolt it all on make engine mounts if needed depends on the year a12 u got then get extractors, exhaust, and a 32/36 weber
I did that to my 1000 and I've beaten vl's
And its still an aseries so still cheap on fuel

a 310 sunny would weigh at least 200kg more than a 1000 ute...

the amount of money you will save on fuel in with an A series over a commodore or falcon will more than cover any mods you do to it

dont think that any commodore v6 can really be called fuel efficient....the vn v6s arent really any more efficient than the v8s

or you could pick up a CA for a couple of hundred and put it in....cant see a stock looking sunny with a non turbo CA really getting pulled over

i thought about going that way because reading into some of the laws you can actually aplly fora licence that lets you drive a v8 i cant see why you coulndt get away with it. Is there alot involved in doing the ca18 conversion like brakes and other bits like that crossmembers and the such. I'm sure its been asked before but im just looking for an answer fairly soon because im looking at another car 120y to put the a14 in power to weight thing. it has new grill new bonet new front guards.

Just do up the A14 & street racing will cost you a whole lot more than a CA or SR in the long run!

I knew the wagon would weigh more but I was just sayin
And ya can always drop the weight like removing dound detening and stuff and cops won't even kno

And I thought it had an a12 in it the sunny I used to own only had an a12 that's why
