I believe ur best bet is to keep the sunny and get an a15 u should b able to pick up just the block for like $150 or sumfin like that and everything from the a12 bolts strait on to it
Even if u can't find an a14 or a15 head the a12 head fits on bolt it all on make engine mounts if needed depends on the year a12 u got then get extractors, exhaust, and a 32/36 weber
I did that to my 1000 and I've beaten vl's
And its still an aseries so still cheap on fuel

Yeah good point lol.
I dont wanna spend more on hotting up the motor than actually buying a bigger more powerful car.

sunny wagons came with a15 from factory in aus, under section 34 of the mods booklet for vic roads, you can use a replacement engine with bigger displacement if offered as an option on the model in question.

A12 sunny wagon and a15 sunny wagon were sold new in vic and aus, legal to put a15 into it! no effect to p plate laws at all

i almsot bought an a12 sunny to put an a15 into it. went through it all with vic roads, sedan needs engenieers, wagon doesnt as was sold new in aus with a15.... easiet upgrade for you, then a 32/36 onto it for a bit more oomph.

The thing is i cant put a bigger motor or different motor in it because of new laws for the p plates no superchargers or turbo chargers ether.
So the engine swap is out of the question and i really cant justify paying 1200 for a set of webbers.
I'm dead set against getting a commodore or falcon i hate them with a passion.

keep the sunny and grab an a15... they are legal in sunny wagons no engenieers needed.

also on wpprentice wages, you will appreciate the reduced running costs of a well maintained sunny wagon compared to a dunny dore

thats life!!!.....well you come to the wrong forum

thats not a very fair statement, this forum has always been a good place to talk about bang for buck, and simple upgrades.

Not everyone is interested or financial enough to retrofit a CA or SR into their car.
