Well bell housing would be a lot different to my knowledge. Just send me the stanza 5 speed i will make good use of it. Mines getting a bit funny with 1st gear Maybe cause i like to hold it there for to long .

yeah isnt it just the bellhousing the input shaft that are different. so pull the l series box down and get the input shaft out and hit it with the lathe

if you have both boxes you should be able to see any other differences

hi guys im after just a rough guide on what i have to do to convert an l series 63a 5 speed into th a series one. i have both and the a series one is worn beyond easy repair, so i got an l series 63a 5 speed out of a stanza. to my knowledge all i have to do is lathe down the input shaft. is that all i have 2 do?
