well today we all put in a fair effort! many thanx to Steve, Brad and Dad. we managed to finish off the rear brakes and sort out the front wiring harness. put the back loom in too, so its all nearly complete.
still gotta re tape it and put it in condute. we decided to hide all of the regulators in the inner wheel arch so here are some pics of the braketry and wiring so far ![]() ![]() ![]() cheers Dan

have you got a cover for those regulators? they will cop a fair but of water and dirt etc under there.. maybe a tin sheet pressed to fit around the regs? like a box

haha yer i was aware of that, its just a mock up stage, eventually it will get a protective cover. not that the car will see any rain or mud :)
thanx very much for the suggestion, got it sorted. hope to keep the engine bay clean. cheers Dan

thats lookin nice. im in the same sorta situation, im 16, always worked on cars with my dad so i decided to buy my own project car for myself. mine has been sitting in a shed for a while now but weather is getting better so i got it out and started working on it again. i am doing the same thing, replacing every panel, just finished welding in the right hand sill panel, i had the same problem, everything is all rusted out, so while we had it so far apart, me and my dad welded in a support all the way down the side of the car, (from the bottom of the from pillar to the back wheel arch). im also planning on doing the same with all the wiring, looks alot neater when its finished and ya cant see all the wiring, i have a 13B rotary thats goin in mine. still alot of work, but it will get there eventually and the end result will make it all worth the effort.
good work :)
