thanx very much dodgeman, im glad to hear that you enjoyed the read...
brad_herbert;it is very close to running, all wiring is finished, except for the coil as i still haven found a nice place to mount it, then i need power to the fuel pump, and apart from that, it is readdy to fire up.
then before it is totally complete i will have to;
-build the doors
-install interiour
-bleed the breaks
-adjust clutch
i think thats it but im sure there will be more i wish it was as simple as that list sounds
i will keep you all posted

Well I just read this thread & it sure is a dazzling job but it looks like the plan to do a full restoration went out the window on day one.
Restored Utes are a bit of a slug anyway so this rebuild is MUCH MUCH better.

I wish I had your facilities & resources. [green eyed devil makes appearance]

i had the same sort of thing in my ute.. i had the battery sunken down into it and it had a lid on it and i also had an opening into it so that you could get to the fuel sender unit
