Great build mate. So happy to see younger guys taking their time and doing things right the first time. Its hard to get people to see the benefits of having a little patience. Have you done all the metal work yourself?

Dont want to see it finished because I like the rebuild so much!! :)

yeah mate, happily...
i bought the dyna mat off of ebay it was about $260, and it comes in standard thickness and sheets that are a standard size. It is really easy to work with and you can minipulate it really well.
cover everything with the dyna mat... then cut out the bits you want gone, such as gearbox hole.
the dynamat has an adehsive side that goes onto the body and then just force it down with a hammer handel.... works really well!
all the best.
ohh and those kingsprings iv got no idea what ones they are, just asked at my local suspension shop and they had em on shelf hope it helps fellas!
cheers
Dan

First time I've noticed this thread and I'm really impressed - I'll have to show it to my 14 yr old who has a LJ Torana project car....is looking down the barrel of a lot of body work too...unfortunately I'm not able to pass on my panel beater wisdom (as I don't have any)...we plan to learn together.

poppo1200perth; bling is the go mate!!
hahha well a rough price was about $36 a foot for the braid. be careful putting it on because it really hurts when the fine stainless pierces your finger they are like needles ahhaha!
and those speed flow fittings were $20 for a straight and
$40 for a angle.
fairly pricy but such is life.... umm i no you can get anodized worm drive fittings that are a tad cheeaper, but i fuigured if i was gonna do it i would do it propperly!
thanx very much andy and m_amery so sorry mate but i think i need it :)
cheers
Dan
