yep connor. i realized after that it only cost 29 dollars so we decided to buy it even for the initial thing we will have a virtual idea on what is going to happen. we already have the caster camber tool and it helps alot. but i am trying to keep with all the geometry thing.

Hi all i have some more info that has come up latley , im on to rack number 4 a holden barina power steer rack , it is the closest one to the right length of all the ones ive found , still has to be shortened but i dont have to remake the rack shaft so i modified the rest of it in a day and am now mounting it to the crossmember, it has a slightly slower ratio than the mazda one i mentioned earlier but by only 5mm per rev leaving 45mm of travel per rev this means 2.5 turns lock to lock , plenty good enough.

it came from a 92 barina "swing" model

1988-1994 Barina is a Suzuki Cultus/Chevy Metro variant.
Hmmm... should be easy to find these racks.
Can't wait to hear what you find about using this in a 1200.

maybe only in the recent models wards, the earlier ones like the 92 model is just a rebadged suzuki.

and cheater 5 what bump steer numbers does this setup give? it looks very close to neutral
