if they are weld on you would assume they would be steel sleeve, if so $300 with springs isnt a bad price at all

i think it is typical to have alloy thread, what people do is weld a steel collar under where the thread will sit to retain it in the correct position

well not like its going anywhere piggy, the way you did it and the alloy asnt cracked, chipped or anyhting really. seems damn strong whatever it is.

Noltec to a weld on coilover sleeve kit, comes with steel sleeve the bottom seats and locking seats and a pair of c cpanners. I paid about $250nz for mine.

cheater_5 used them and im pretty sure they where a full steel sleeve
