i cant see any change out of 500 buck for an engine and box landed. since a 5 speed went for 730 last week on ebay, that would be good

Sorry everyone, I have not had any new posts sent to me.
I've just logged in again today. I have had the Datsun Guys abnd the Morris Minor Guys chasing me.

Well........., whilst it is not dead, it is on life support.

The fellow who has these, will not drop his cost, whether we buy 1 set or 20 sets. He wants the same price (TOP DOLLAR!). Which we feel makes them unviable, by the time we put international transport and a little for our trouble on them. Also we would need to ask people to pay for them up front and then wait purhaps 3-4 months for them, as we do not have say fifty or so grand to outlay to bring them in. And we are still working through the language barrier and cultural differances as well.

So we are still looking into it, but nothing short term.
I'll let you know if there are any further updates.

i too would be keen to get a 5 speed for an a12

Just to let everybody know, if this does go ahead, we are talking about BRAND NEW 5 speed G/Boxes and either BRAND NEW A12's or A15's with less than 10,000klms, so DO NOT expect to pay 500 bucks for a G/Box or Engine.

I would think between $1800 and $2500 depending on the combinations people choose, particularly if they are new items.

Either way, the end price will shake a few fruit off the tree, these Datsun folk are a tight bunch!
