Yes, you can use the Datsun coil.

There are three wires coming out of the distributor:

1. Green wire - connect to IGN - (for example, hot side of ballast resistor

2. White wire - connect to minus(-) side of coil

3. Black wire - ground/earth. Connect to engine bolt.

What is the part numbers on the Distributor?

Write down all the numbers and post them here.

If it is Ford, the main number starts with an E for 1980s parts, or an F for 1990s parts.

Thank you. Those numbers are from the electronic module. Are there any numbers or a Hitachi or Mitsubishi symbol on the distributor body? like this?

UPDATE: That is a Bosch JGFFUX4 distributor (of the type '0 237 601 013')

It looks visually similar to an MG/Austin distributor which also fits in a Datsun A-series engine
