it looks like there is some kinda fitting that i need to go into the block on the passengers side so that it can actually adapt to the oil line

as the bolt thread is like 1/8th npt or bsp....what ever the oil pressure sendor thread is. and the oil line has a nut on the solid line like what a brake line would have, but its about a 12mm or so thread.
it all seems to go in the right place so it just looks like theres a 90 degree fitting thats supposed to fill the gap

is this correct, if so does anyone have a spare one of the said fitting?

or if anyone has pics of the oil feed so i can make sure this is the right thing
this is one of the last things i need to get the CA done as i have a week off uni after easter and want to get the CA in and running

no.. the DE to DET requires the engine builder to drill and tap a hole in the same place ..if you want to use the OEM lines. obviously, this is the high pressure side .. so you can't just get it from the sump.

So yes, there is a right angle fitting.

dazza, if you could send some pics too that would be great. aslo would like a pic of the oil line fitting

sam, got your pics. so many more holes that the DE block. the fitting thats still in your block looks to be the water line one that my block doesnt have. explains why one of the water lines went no where

so the DET has a 90 degree fitting in the block for the oil normally? if this is so, why do i need to drill and tap a hole in the block? there is already a high pressure oil line hole in the block that has a plug in it. thats the 18th bsp thread
is the hole in a DET block the same thread as this?
