Please post more details about your systems, operating system, browser, anti-virus/anti-syware.
I need them, because I can't replicate the problem in my machines, which makes the problem very hard to find.
I will try to fix this after fixing the wiki problem.

i wasnt refering specificaly to this upgrade but to upgrades in general
you gotta have a little pain to make things better sometimes
the more feedback these guys get on the details of our problems the easier they can diagnose the bugs

I had the same problem when the site changed over for a couple of days. Had to clear the cookies and it seemed to fixed the problem, have'nt had a problem since.

I even tried to change passwords and that didn't work. checked the time and that was fine.

yeh same here mate ive found it just hit and miss i tried changing passwords and didnt that didnt do anything but then the next time i logged in it worked fine...sorry not much help

umm i think i have windows xp home, windows explorer 7, no anti virus (i only use this computer for games and swimming the interwebs)or i use avg free trial to sort out issues.. other than that i dont know..

Im starting on a random page now after logging in, thats ok. Ive never been able to upload an avatar here tho.

havent been able to log in for a while now when i log in it says thank you for logging in (or wateva) perthute then im not logg'd in .
try loggin in with msdrift same ( as above )
try getting a new user name fill out the page click ok or wateva the button is and the page just sitts there

norton 360 protection on my home pc and avg or somthing on my work pc so different protection same problem

random page after login: A new "feature".
- If you don't want this, use the login at the top of the home page (icon looks like a power button)
- Login at left side of page and you'll get a random page after logging in


RE: Login, then next page shows not logged in: This has little to do with the site upgrade - a few people see this, and have been reporting it for years. There are several causes. "Norton" is one cause but it depends on the version, monthly updates to Norton and configuration of Norton. Most people using Norton have no problem. Others had no problem, then after a Norton update it starts happening. AVG might make the same thing.

Any program that claims Internet "security" can cause the same problem. If the program deletes "cookies" or suggest you delete them, that is a problem. Without the cookie, only the login page knows you are logged in, the other pages (like the Home page) doesn't know it.

So if you run into this problem, temporarily disable your "Internet security" program and see if the login now works as designed. Remember, cookies are not bad, they are a design of the World Wide Web, and taste good with milk too.

Hey all,
I have been having trouble with login. It is accepting my login and password goes to confirmation screen then back to login screen with out me being loged in. This happens at least 3-4 time a week. I don't get a lot of time online and it frustrates me when I finally get some time I can't get on to my favorite site. It only happens with this site and since the new look. We may need to look into this if anyone else is having the same trouble.
