hi people..

i need a little info. i have been given a set of 200B front struts, no discs and calipers. at the moment i have a set of 13" rims on my ute and am wondering if i put the 200B struts in once i have purchased the discs and calipers will the rims still fit. At this time i have 120y struts in the ute.

thanks

That depends on teh brake setup you're going to get for it. the landcruiser calliper combo fits in most 13's and the commodore calliper magna disc combo should do too, Ian's car runs that setup with 13's. Also, you got the hubs with it? cos that can make the decision for you if you had certain parts already.

While you have the chance, you can swap the wheel studs. Get some longer studs from a wreckers, from a Bluebird(910), & you can fit those to the hubs. You might have to cut a small notch in the studs, but I think you don't have to with the 200B hub. New rotors are available from RDA at $70 each, then you only have to find some calipers. There are 2 sizes for the 200B rotors, the early ones are 10 inch, the later ones are 9.75 inch. The difference is due to them using a common disc/caliper with the Stanza. This would make it easier to fit 13 inch wheels if you used the later combo, though I've had some 13 inch rims fit over the larger ones.

i manage to get 13 inch rims on my 200b set up, but only 2 out of 8 choices have fit on. you can use stanza hubs and clipers on the 200b strutrs (girlocck type) and they clear all 13's i have ever tired
