gday i have just srtipped down a ca18det to give it a general clean up so basically its a block with head and sump on an engine stand now, i have just cleaned the throttle body manifold and about to clean the intake as well but i wanted to know what hoses i will not need anymore like the heater hose for example but im not sure what some of the hoses are for? im going to replace every hose with a braided one but only want to keep what i will need so the motor is tidy.
so info or photos of your datto engine bay with the ca18det would be great .
thanks
maso..

just found a heap of diagrams on here from ca18 threads but if you guys have photos of your intake manifolds and what lines you have kept and engine bay pics that will also be a great help.

Is it ever going to see the road again or is it a track beast?

mildman ur an absolute legend exactly what i was after, what do you think the rta would have to say about taking all that stuff off? im going to run a pwr radiator made for the s13 and modifiy it and the car to fit it and a big thermal fan, do you think it will have overheating problems .
have you had any problems.
i better ad that the motor is going to be internally standard
gt2871r garrett turbo
custom manifold
550 injectors
pwr front mount 500-300-70
z32 afm
either microtech or remapped computer
maddat wiring harness
oil catch can
etc...
