Yes earth = ground, and you can leave the fuses in fron the old headlight fuse, just remember though if you headlight fuse blows for some reason you have 2 fuses to check.

Datsun1000: Yea I saw that earlier but I am confused about the switch part. Do I use my stock light switch or do I have to wire another one inside to like a toggle switch or something? For some reason this makes no sense to me and I'm not a wiring dummy I know how to do it lol but I've no never really played with relays before

Ok I think I have it, but one last question how does the relay keep the current away if there is still power going threw the stock switch and fuse??
Is the switch more or less just now a lower circut that just provides the small amount of juice the relay needs to trip to allow the "new Full" juice from the relay to go to the lamps?

you use the stock light switch.
basically, the wires that run to your headlights, that actually run the headlights, will become trigger wires for the relays, so all the changes happen under the bonnet, id post a pic of mine to show where i put the relays in relation to the headlights but i dont know how.
