Go the pov pack!

Here is a pic of an A13 Tomei engine that is still alive and well.

Imagine one of these under your bonnet.

I don't think A12A's are A13's anyway? Hmm probably wrong but I thought there were two A13's the tall deck (longer stroke) and the short deck (typical) big bore? I know one was 74 and the next came years later.

EDIT: Is that what you're saying? or did you just mention 2 A13 types and then announce your possesion of the only A12A in Aus? confused

your right clyons, the A12A was a different motor again with a 75?mm bore.
The A13 Tall motor was released 1 year only in USA then never made again, the A13 short motor was only released in JDM during the late 70's/80's I beleive. As far as I can tell measuring everything in mine, it's basically a later A12 bored to 76mm at the factory. Havn't got around to weighing everything yet to see what's what.

I reckon you've got the later A13 Pendles. Pretty much a A14 squashed to become an A13.

Those are the favourable ones in my opinion. They'd pick those revs much quicker. Broader piston plateau and short stroke....bzzz!!

Cheers
