Rotary down here in tassie is classed as a 2.5 liter. dont ask me why that is transport maths. The max I can put in the 1200 is 2 liter.

im in w.a legally i dont really care cause out where i live no matter what i own is black listed . . . thats why i want another cradle etc. to leave the old 1200 engine n gearbox on the original cradle and swap when stickered to get back over the pits. . .

Thats the wrong attitude for modifying a vehicle. Sure the laws are tough but they serve a purpose. In your circumstance the vehicle will have no insurance and no compulsory third party. The legalities of you being in an accident are huge. And protentially disastrous should you cause injury to someone.

Even if you are North of the Black Stump is it worth it?
