thanks mate, well head was back weeks ago hopefully finish putting it back on today and get it back in the car, been busy havent had alot of time lately so, hopefully get it done and ready for engineering like it was about a month and a half ago

yeah mate thats what im doing now just dropped the head of down the engine shop getting full service, cometic metal head gasket and arp rod bolts for it, so hopefully no more trouble

Just do the repair and get it on the road.
Maybe build a second long motor with all the goodies and take your time. Im sure there will be a few bugs in the "Y" to iron out before you need the extra power...

well motor and box is out as it had a leaky rear main as well so ill fix that while im at it, so now do i build the whole motor with forgies, cams and other goodies or do i just skin the head get it back on, hmmm not sure

thanks mate , well it was going to get engineered on saturday, started it up running abit rough, noticed steam poring form the exhaust, so i turned it off and what do you know,checked in the oil cap and its all milky. blown head gasket
