wat ever engine the car comes out standard with your not allowed anything bigger, cant even put twin carbies on the stadard engine, but to the cops untrained eye you could probly put an a15 in a 1200 an they wouldnt know

your only legal 180cc over an A12 so a15 is a no no without engineering, although a14 is, no turbo just a stockie,

In NSW apparently your allowed to increase engine size by 20% on top of original displacement without engineering. Not too sure bout qld though. So A14 is just over the limit, but very close. Police probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference mate.

if you want to go a a14 or a15 you could use the existing engine numbers on your a12 and restamp your bigger motor thats what one of my "FRIENDS" did..

im sure even if pulled over you would get away with an a14 or a15

its hard to understand when p platers are allowed to drive fuel injected 3.8lt v6's or 4lt straight 6's weighing in at close to 1.5T

has anyone ever been done for something such as an a14 or an a15 or simply twin carbs in a 1200 whilst driving on their p's?

im not 100% sure but my mate has a ke20 with a 4age engine in it and gets pulled over all the time and he just gets defected coz its not engineered for engine, pod ,rims etc. and he has told me that in nsw you can increase by 20-30 % or something but liek i said im not 100% sure.
