such messed up laws kids with brand new license or a permit (learners) can drive anything with 4wheels ie Ferrari to huge jacked up 4x4s that take a ladder to get into or street legal drag cars, run what u brung

Exactly, as long as you have a parent with you, you can drive anything. But as soon as you get your P's you stuck to boxes with wheels.

yeah im a p2 (green p's) licence holder, and i have talked to a highway patrol officer about this situation, my 1200 coupe racecar is fully engineered for its a15 on webers, half rollcage, stanza suspension, race seats and harnesses and a set of wheels, and he said that because its engineered its ok for me to drive it. but again i would consult with the rta because i talked to him when the laws had just come out so they may have changed. but i do agree it needs to be a power to weight ratio theing, like being able to drive a brand new ve sv6 but not a 1 litre turbo charade, wtf!!!!
and another stupid rule was the only single passengers for p1 drivers after 11pm.... well that f'ed the designated driver system didnt it

id have to agree on the one passenger after 11 especially in country towns!
i got done for it taking a couple of mates home from the pub cop didnt care that they where #OOPS# faced
try and do the right thing and you ended up getting #OOPS#ed over!
