Thanks everyone, I'll certainly have to get it looked over completely, and repaired. Thanks for all the advice and help. I'm not that mechanically minded that I could have sorted this out on my own, so thanks again!!

Well, I was doing a bit of research last night in regards to a potential engine change, and have profiled a couple of engines that seem to be able to fit nicely into the 120y, and was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind giving your opinions?

The first was a GA16DE and the second an SR20. The Sr20 should definitely give it a boost in power, although a few things will need to be replaced to enable the car to handle the much higher bhp. The GA16DE is a bit more down to earth.

Thanks!

Hi stratts

is it 4 or 8 cylinder ?
if you want 100-120 BHP or less don't go for 8 cylinder you may archive it by 4 cylinder engine like L series even ,

thanks

I believe the GA16DE is a 4 cylinder engine, and the SR20 also.

The GA16DE can produce bhp around 110-115 I believe, and the SR20 can produce a bit more than that, but I am looking for around 120-130 if I go for that option
