what about a shorter crossmember...like one that hasnt got the strut parts as high?? would that work aswell?

yeah i wouldnt have the foggiest idea ey i think jordy has the pics of the mounts on his for sale page if i find the link or if he still has it i will put it up for all to see and comment on what is wrong and how i can change it or get it changed.

well in the past with a late sump they usually touch and need spacing up to clear..
I think the Mount brackets to the block must be different ones...

i will be getting the measurements in like two seconds.there is 4cm from the sump to the cross member and approximately 3.5 from the carbie to the bonnet.

I've been toying with the idea of moving the motor back
But I figured if it went down it would probably be too low inc the gearbox

the motor is mounted with 1000 rubber mounts and roughly 2.5 inch angle to get the motor sitting back to the oringal spot i dont think you have any room to go down

get some su's or sidedraught webber

or it might clear with a filter that looks like this click me

how much room be between the bonnet and the carbie ?
