I looked at the engin number on my a14 and then looked at my supossed L16 the number is 2T 3090 there is another number cast onto the block 11411-26012 also 38 and 305, anyone knows what engin this is, it is a red engin with a kanji stamped on. The flat top pistons just fit into the cyllinder. From the top, but not the bottom. Any ideas?

On the L 16 the no is on the left side of the motor close to the back at the top of the block just under your head. It will say L16s or L16T and then the engine no. And on the same side you should see the head model no at the base of the head eg U67, W53 and so on. This is taken you standing in front of the motor.

Yeah I think it sounds like a toyota 2T, is it a cross flow(carbs on oposit side to exhaust)?? and maybe even twin cam? but that might be a 2T-G?

Its a crossflow head on a 2t single cam. But now where do i see what gearbox it is toyota or nissan? This is gonna make registering the car a nightmare, ill try and see if i can get tie L16 too.

Ok since i need to get a new engin plate. Wich engines would you guys go for. Im sure b710 has lots of room, not sure about gearbox space though, also rwd matching gearbox to engin. What do you guys suggest?
