Well it's been about 2 months or so since I sold the ute, (probably been longer, time flies in grade 12). But just over the weekend I flew down to Melbourne and picked myself up my new toy.

A 1999 Subaru Liberty RX 2.5L manual sedan. After a lengthy 22hour drive home, and constant comparing to how the drive would feel if we were in a datsun. We were home.

Gave it a good clean today, still yet to be cut and polished but here it is.

It certainly has a few more features then the Datsun, but I do miss it.

hey mate, I spent $300 on the interior trim. I have a upholsterer mate and he did them fairly cheap. Paint I spent $1760, fella did a good job as well for the price. I took it to him as a rolling shell and he did a little bit of panel work. Luckily for me there wasn't any rust to be removed the previous owner had removed it all.

Went to the Brake Shop after work today. List of what is going to be done:

- Drum's machined, new shoes and brake cylinders
- New front discs, pads
- Caliper overhaul

I would just like to say. It's not cheap. Ahh.

so today I've taken all the brakes apart, noted parts that need replacing, was hoping to get down to the brake and suspension shop today, but they are all shut for some unknown reason. So will head down Monday hopefully. Ah its coming together. :D
