yea I rang them and said I'd seen some Bikers down the Pub watching the dirty girls.... they did say ANY activity....

hmm took it for a spin last night, it's very chunky, and runs out at 5k, perhaps the GX carbs don't flow enuff...

ok a bit of an update, checked out the carbs, pulled the tops off to look at the needles, WOW!!!!, some people just shouldn't play with things that they know nothing about,
one needle (not 2!!!!) had been sanded down, nice one.
the springs in the pistons were big enuff to hold up the front of one of those pogostick 1200 thingies.. no wonder it had no top end..

so now needles changes and some original springs, and auto oil in the dampers..
a very quick tune, still needs a good sort out, and out on the road..
it's a bit lazy at 2500 but once it's spinning it goes well, i did see the tach at 8k...

nice and lumpy.. we'll have to compare chunkyness Jordan.. lol

can't remember who i bought the carbs off, they look a treat, but no wonder they sold them, they had no chance of running well..

so far so good on the bunky rebuild...lol

its a cam off :)

i should have mine on the road this weekend :) ill have to drop round to get them parts and give ya a look see :)

I think it was promised with the second coming of Jesus: "Thou will have coilovers!" and other good #OOPS# like that, so I wait.

That motor almost sounds as good as the kitchen table special! I seriously doubt anything could sound as good as that did.
Hearing that cam work its majic almost makes me want to abondon the dark side of efi and injection and return to the light of cams and carbys.... ohhh to be pushed and shoved by both sides... its so hard..... BIG HP and sleeper or awsome note and instant street cred.... oh woe is me!
