Hey im a dattomaster?

Yes 1000 and 1200 mounts are different. I bought a 1200 kit and modded the blocks slightly. I think i had to drill out the hole to 16mm (from memory) and i found some washers that where a perfect fit for the pin! U bolts where too long and had to be trimmed as per usual. I knocked it over all in a arvo and i think the kit was like $70 new?

Like I previously stated, I need to lose the "baja" look on the 1k wagon for my RWC so, not wanting to spend too much or mess with the stock parts, I get a set of 2" lowering blocks, so the U-bolts arent long enough...drive around to bolt dealers, trailer makers, back to the bolt dealers who tell me they can make them...then get to the bolt dealers who make me wait 20 mins before telling me they cant, so a bit pissed off by now i go to an engineeer around the corner who tlels me the bolt dealers will make themn cheaper...i tell him nuh uh, he says leave it with me...2 days later he has the bolts for me...from the bolt dealers! They want $150 for them!!!

Thinking well Ive wasted days after these bolts now... they are hi tensile and at the end of my tether I go heres the cash gimmie the flippin bolts.

Go to put the blocks in today and THE BLOCKS DONT FIT!!!
It seems 1200 h145 mounts are different to 100 H145 mounts???

The blocks I have have these little locating lugs while the bracket locating lugs that mount the springs to my diff are much bigger:

So now im faced with the predicament. Get blocks custom made (unless anyone has them to suit they wanna part with but i already asked) knowing full well that it probably could have paid for spring re-set twice over by the time im finished...or count my losses and get them re-set and have a nice set of shiny new u bolts to throw through a certain bolt-shop window...

hmm what would a dattomaster do?

(dont say flip em)
