Is that all in us$ and when you say balance crank is that just the crank or the rods pistons flywheel presure plate and front pully because thats what it should consist of. Cheers

Ok guys, I am starting to wonder if i have bitten off more than i can chew!

I've taken the engine out & it sitting in immy's garage (ta for that mate!) & i wrote up a list of wht i would like/need to sort out on my datto....

Tell me what you guys think:

Hey Ethan looking good how far from sa border are you because a rust converter is the way to go in sa we have a product called NS4 That will do the job. As for body panels you can get new aftermarket doors fenders bonnet and so on.

Cool, i will try to get some type of product to put behind the panels to stop or at least slow down the return of rust.

I'm planning to start saving now for a proper rebuild in a few years time... thats when im going to strip it down to the chasis & replace whole panels if they will still be available....

Should be taking the engine out today or tommorow so i can start on that. Also getting the panel beater to spay the underneath with 'stonechip' - a rubberiser type thing to stop rust underneath.

good progress there, make sure u use rust converter and fish oil or similar on the back of the panelsover a wider area than the plates u have put in,

otherwise when the rust is that bad it will just come back further around the pieces u put in.
