Nice write up stu, always annoys me they never go into detail about radiators.

great to hear its still a standard head as looking at my standard head I can see where it could do with some work
to enhance the breathing further.
The exhaust valves can go bigger and the inlet manifold
is another area where more could be gained without going
for so much boost or timing.
The potential in these engines is quite understated.

Yeah I think getting them to breath proply is a big key to making power in a z18. My inlet manifold has been modified a fair bit ive ground out the front of it so it now has one large hole insted of the 2 smaller one's. Ive also removed the egr tube from indside and smoothed it all out lastly ive had the carb adaptor welded to the front of the manifold which probly gives another litre or so in plenum volume.

i thought that was your car! i purchased ZOOM early last week, it was 2 mags for the price of 1 deal. i didn't realise your car ran on 'bbq fuel' as they put it, would you reccomend an Lpg boosted set up?

On another note, did anyone see the KB10 in the first couple of pages that is getting a 250ci ford cross flow engine stuffed in it? , not my cup of tea! but what ever rubs your budha i spose!!

LPG and boost lets hear it from the man.
Does it beat injection for cost and setup?
well back to the Falcon kb10 most Falcon drag racer swear by LPG.
