Whoa take a chill pill dude!

Like pepper i have also done a dellow conversion, and it is not advisable to skimp on costs. The stuff on WIKI isn't set in stone, thats just an account of one particular person paid for things, he might've got the gear box secondhand for cheap, who gives a sh!t!! thats besides the point, stop trying to be a know it all! and take our advice, it cost more than $1200 for that sort of set-up, take it from people who actually have done the conversion.

Datsandy beat me to it!

Surely these prices won't hold up for too long. The rocketing prices lately has been a bit ridiculous to say the least. Someone I know spent $900 on one then sent it to me to have it checked and it was an absolute dogs breakfast inside. No broken gears but 4 out of 5 synchro's torched and a cracked mainshaft and a full set of bearings. What a waste of money. I still don't see them being worth more than $1k unless they have been rebuilt properly with some evidence that the synchro's aren't on bottom tolerance. Maybe I'm being overly critical but I don't think so.
